I can do anything I want, so why don't I do something?

Love is a Welcome Poison

This is a poem translated from William Blake's 'A Poison Tree'
It is translated from English to English, by ME.

(Love is a Welcome Poison)

Out beside the wishing well
A smile I had, it was swell
With my sweet, shall I say
I am with her night and day.

Out beside the awning shade
With a sweater, she has made
Loving her is all I need
She has helped me conquer greed.

Out beside a comfy tree
With my love, that is the key
Ripened apples, ripened sun
And of course our grown up son.

Laying beside the life support
My time remaining, running short,
My love is here, beautifully aged,
An apple won the war it's waged...
