I know the last 2 poems I wrote all began with the same line, along with road's of fire a while ago. But I find that this way of writing makes it easy and fun to create climax's and to help the poetry seem more dramatic. So relax if you're annoyed.
Look upon the freakshow,
The smiling happy frown,
Look down on his face,
The face of the clown.
Look upon the freakshow,
Grizzly mat of hair,
Crude deformed face,
Looking up on you.
Look upon the freakshow,
short and stubby sitting,
Look into his eyes,
And see just how he feels.
Look upon the freakshow,
Hidden behind glasses,
Sunlight glinting messily,
Into the crowded room.
Look upon the freakshow,
Pimpled bloody mess,
Paid less than the rest,
For poor rape and incest.
Look upon the freakshow,
Sitting in the corner,
Scratching out his insides,
Searching hard for you.
Look upon the freakshow,
Bloodied mess behold,
See the tortured wonder,
See the body, cold.
Look upon the freakshow,
Eyes not bright again,
Help with other freakshows,
When the freakshow's, shows begin.
I can do anything I want, so why don't I do something?
